Oregon AAOT Z-Degree

How close is your college or university to offering a degree pathway with ZERO textbook costs?

A degree pathway with zero textbook costs may be closer than you think!

How can there be a degree with ZERO textbook costs? OER are course materials that are freely available online and openly licensed so that faculty can do the 5 R’s: revise, remix, reuse, redistribute, and retain. You can download the material, tailor it to your course, save a copy locally, and share it back out with attribution. Students can access OER for free online or pay for low-cost print versions.

  • Click the dots in the interactive image below to see which Open Educational Resources (OER) are already being used for high-enrollment, lower-division courses that contribute to an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT) degree statewide. AAOT degree requirements are similar to university general education requirements.
  • Click on the signs to see all courses by subject.
