2023-25 Grant Projects Complete

By | September 5, 2025

The 24 OER grant projects in the 2023-25 cohort represent 58 instructors at 15 institutions, who saved over 10,000 Oregon students approximately $1.6 million in 61 courses during the 2023-25 biennium. This savings represents $6.59 in student savings for each $1 of grant money spent. Beyond the pilot phase it is expected that these fully accessible and openly licensed course materials will be used more widely and increase the student savings impact.

To review the OER created by grantees, visit the 2023-25 Grant Cohort Folder in OER Commons. For more information about each fund and participating institution, see the 2023-25 OER Grants Final Report.

Funding was provided by Oregon’s Higher Education Coordinating Commission, and by the Community College and Workforce Development (CCWD) office on the recommendation of the Oregon Community College Distance Learning Association.

Congratulations to our grantees and thank you for your hard work!
