Meggie Wright, OER Librarian, and Ian Coronado, Academic Technology Division Dean, Lane Community College, attended Achieving the Dream’s Open Educational Resources (OER) Degree Initiative meeting in Miami last month. They will share highlights from this opportunity to hear about 38 colleges and systems that are pursuing Z Degrees.
Kellie Schellenberg, Dean, eLearning & Academic Technology, Chemeketa Community College, will provide an update on the wide range of projects underway to reduce course materials costs at Chemeketa. With support from both front-line faculty and the highest ranks of admin, and Oregon’s only college press, this is an exciting time to catch up with Chemeketa.
