Funding is available for OER research projects that will be conducted and reported on in winter and/or spring 2017. We will work as a cohort in order to coordinate training, find efficiencies, and amplify findings. Applications are encouraged from all community college roles, including faculty, librarians, staff, and administrators. (Students, please check with your college about whether it’s possible for you to be paid a stipend before applying.)
OER research defined: Measure the impact that OER have on teaching and learning. For best practices, see the Guidebook to Research on Open Educational Resources Adoption.
Funding details: $1500 per research project application. Teams with more than one member will divide the research funding.
Timeline: You must conduct and report on your research during winter or spring 2017.
Completed application forms are due by Tuesday, January 3, 2017 (extended deadline). Applicants will be notified byTuesday, January 10, 2017. Projects must be completed and invoiced by June 1, 2017.
