Open Oregon Educational Resources is sponsoring Heather White – Mt Hood Community College’s Library Technical Services Coordinator – in the Open Textbook Network’s Certificate in OER Librarianship Program. From February through September 2019, Heather is taking online classes and learning from mentors and peers, covering topics such as academic freedom, engaging library colleagues in open education initiatives, building and sustaining momentum with campus constituents, and supporting multiple layers of faculty engagement with OER adoption, creation, modification, teaching and learning. In this webinar, Heather will share her takeaways from the immersive, three-day in-person workshop, in Cleveland OH, April 8-10.
