Open Oregon Educational Resources is advocating for a program funding increase, and applying for external grant funding, that would enable us to support large-scale projects developing high-quality open educational resources including textbooks and ancillary materials with an equity lens. Please use this form to describe the course materials creation project you would like us to consider if funding is available. We will provide a funding update before the end of spring term.
We’re looking for proposals in the following categories:
- Textbook and course development for Common Course Numbering courses
- Translating open educational resources into languages other than English
- Virtual Reality ancillary development
Submit your expression of interest by May 12 (extended!) via this form: https://forms.gle/nwmMyK76UB3Toxme7
Register for a Q&A April 24, 1-2
NOTE: This expression of interest process is different from our call for OER grant proposals.
Factors considered will include:
- High enrollment courses
- High workforce demand fields
- Lack of high-quality OER
- Opportunities to advance EDI
- Potential for interinstitutional collaboration and buy-in
