Register now to attend one, two, or all three days of Oregon’s OER Retreat! Every participant must fill out the registration form individually by May 3.
Registration for Oregon public community college and university participants is free and includes breakfast and lunch, travel reimbursement, and overnight accommodation. Part-time faculty and staff are eligible for stipends for attendance and supplemental childcare.
Our event will have a reserved parking lot at Western Oregon University, with exact lot location sent by email. Please plan to bring your own device.
June 10, 2019: One-day No-cost/Low-cost Pathways workshop with Achieving the Dream
Pastega Room, Richard Woodcock Education Center, Western Oregon University
To participate, your institution must bring a team that includes the following:
– at least one academic leader, such as a dean or VP;
– at least one faculty leader;
– faculty development roles, such as librarian, distance learning, accessibility, or instructional support;
– representatives of other relevant units such as bookstore, admissions, registrar, marketing, etc.
Before the workshop: AtD asks each participating institution to take a readiness diagnostic in time for them to review the results, sent via email in April.
Workshop agenda: AtD will share their expertise in planning no-cost/low-cost degree pathways, institutional transformation, and sustaining high-impact OER programs. The core of the day will be hands-on work time for action planning in which institutional teams identify steps to take in the next academic year to set and achieve goals around no-cost/low-cost pathways.
