This workshop is for 1-2 OER champions from each community college campus.
Sarah Cohen and Dave Ernst from the Open Textbook Network will lead a train-the-trainer workshop. After the workshop, you will be prepared to return to your college and offer an Open Textbook Workshop – with the support of the train-the-trainer cohort. The workshop that you will be trained to offer orients faculty to the basics of OER and then offers a $200 stipend for them to write a review of a textbook in the Open Textbook Library within 6 weeks of your workshop.
You should select a date for the workshop that you will offer on your campus before you register for this session. Open Oregon funding will pay for faculty stipends.
Travel reimbursement is available and lunch will be provided for the train-the-trainer session.
