What’s an OER Librarian?

By | January 31, 2019

Libraries are taking note of the increasing need to support open education projects on campus and beginning to hire for newly-created OER Librarian positions. Requests for sample position descriptions often circulate on listservs as departments consider responsibilities to assign and fitting new personnel into existing workloads. Michaela Willi Hooper, Linn-Benton Community College, and Meggie Wright, Lane Community College, will discuss their experiences as OER Librarians and suggest practices that lead to successful hiring, onboarding, and support for these positions.

This webinar takes place from 12-1 Pacific time, March 5, 2019. The session will be recorded and captioned to share later.
