2021-23 Grant Projects Complete

By | August 22, 2023

The 48 OER grant projects in the 2021-23 cohort represent 107 instructors at 27 institutions, who saved 9,160 Oregon students over $1.2 million in 78 courses during the 2021-23 biennium. This savings represents $2.89 in student savings for each $1 of grant money spent. Beyond the pilot phase it is expected that these fully accessible and openly licensed course materials will be used more widely and increase the student savings impact.

To review the OER created by grantees, visit the 2021-23 Grant Cohort Folder in OER Commons. For more information about each fund and participating institution, see theĀ 2021-23 OER Grants Final Report.

The 2021-23 grant program began with 38 projects funded by the Higher Education Coordinating Commission, and by the Community College and Workforce Development (CCWD) office on the recommendation of the Oregon Community College Distance Learning Association. The CCWD funded 10 additional projects in Fall 2020.

Congratulations to our grantees and thank you for your hard work!
